install…

Installation is simple.

  1. Unzip the ZIP file into your Eclipse plugins directory. For example c:appseclipseplugins.
  2. Make sure you have JDK or JRE 1.4 in your path. Eclipse doesn't require this but Hopy does because it uses some of JDK 1.4s features.

To test that you have JDK 1.4 you can open a command prompt and type: c:>java -version

You should see something like this:

java version "1.4.1-rc" Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.4.1-rc-b19) Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.4.1-rc-b19, mixed mode)

  1. Restart Eclipse, once Eclipse is restarted, select the Window | Show View | Other… menu option. In the "Hopy” category select Hopy.
