Eclipse is OTI/IBMs IDE / application framework tool.

jEdit has always been and continues to be a great programmer’s editor. Slava Pestov et al. have created a super open source editor.

dom4j is used for colorEditor’s XML support.

I test code with JUnit.

Amrita is an HTML/XML template library written for Ruby. It has the best separation of model and view that I’ve seen for these sorts of tools. I originally used amrita to generate this website, although I’ve now moved onto a home-rolled Python CM. :-)
